The Columbus Botanical Garden dedicated its newest creation, the Sam M. Wellborn Camellia Garden, the morning of May 10 in front of a crowd of spectators and supporters.
Mayor Teresa Tomlinson cut the ribbon along with Sam’s family and friends. A grand opening in June will be open to all.
The garden is located on the Joann Holt Walking Trail. It’s the first of several garden collections to be developed around the mile-long trail in accordance with our 20-year master plan.
