Although orchids have a reputation for being difficult to grow, Ginny Potter, Master Gardener, will provide basic care and maintenance guidelines plus other tips for keeping orchids healthy and thriving in YOUR home! From species selection to basic maintenance to methods you can use to encourage re-blooming, participants will leave ready to start growing orchids.

Then, Martha Davis, floral designer with Bloomwoods Flowers at The Landings, will demonstrate various ways to use orchids in floral creations to include bracelets, corsages and centerpieces.
